SELINA’s third thematic workshop is just a week away. Taking place between 5 and 9 February 2024 in Leiden, the Netherlands, the workshop will once again gather on-site and online about 90 project partners, advisory board members and local stakeholders. SELINA will bring together participants in the inspiring Leiden centre for innovation and enterpreneurship (PLNT) to engage local experts and representatives of the Municipality of Leiden and other local stakeholders from the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency, the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality, The Netherlands Enterprise Agency, Consultancy and Research for Environmental Management (CREM), and the University of Leiden.
The workshop themed ‘Developing salient information for evidence-based decision making‘ will be organised by Capitals Coalition and will focus on identifying biodiversity and ecosystem services information for the SELINA Demonstration Projects and beyond. The workshop will target the knowledge exchange between scientists and decision-makers with the ultimate goal of evidence-based decision-making.
Along with project updates, panel discussions and parallel sessions, workshop participants will get the chance to visit one of the Demonstration Project sites of SELINA - Dunea in the Hague, or boost their creativity through two creative workshops offered by PLNT, including Lego Serious Play and pitch workshop.
