The 2024 World Biodiversity Forum took place in Davos, Switzerland, from 16-21 June 2024, under the theme "From Science to Action." The event was organised by the URPP Global Change and Biodiversity of the University of Zurich and the international research network bioDISCOVERY. It brought together researchers from all biodiversity science disciplines, practitioners, and societal actors to explore how to transition from scientific research to actionable solutions for biodiversity conservation and sustainability.
The forum began on 16 June 2024 with a day of workshops, training sessions, and networking meetings, and concluded on 21 June 2024 with excursions in the beautiful surroundings of Davos and its mountains.
SELINA was featured at the Pensoft Publishers stand alongside other relevant projects, such as BioAgora, Rest-Coast, MAMBO, and SpongeBoost. Attendees at the stand could access SELINA’s promotional materials including a brochure, project four-pager, and stickers, and learn more about the project’s objectives and opportunities. Pensoft Publishers is the partner in SELINA, responsible for the communication and dissemination.
