On 30 November 2023, the first meeting of the Lithuanian Community of Practice (CoP) was organized as part of the SELINA project activities. The event was hosted virtually by the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Lithuania (LRAM) and Mykolas Romeris University (MRU), both partners in SELINA.
Ieva Čaraitė welcomed the participants and gave a presentation about the SELINA project and its objectives. Following a brief discussion, Katažyna Bogdzevič introduced the concept of “Seeds of Change” and the questionnaire that all community partners were asked to complete. The participants agreed to fill out the questionnaire after the event to better reflect on the material.
Marius Kalinauskas moderated the plenary discussion, where several significant questions were raised regarding the project's outcomes, their contribution to better management, and best collaboration practices to maintain prolonged engagement among community members. It was agreed to meet virtually twice a year to update on project activities and results.
Based on the outputs of the CoP meeting in Lithuania, a promotional video was created. This video targeted stakeholders and other interested parties who could not attend the meeting in November 2023 but wished to join the CoP at a later stage.
