Abstract submission for the 4th International ESP Latin America and Caribbean Conference 2023 is now open!
The conference will be held from 6th to 10th November 2023 in La Serena, Chile under the theme “Sharing Knowledge about Ecosystem Services and Natural Capital to Build a Sustainable Future”. The meeting is organised by the Faculty of Regional Development and International Studies at Mendel University in Brno, la Corporacion Regional de Desarrollo Productivo deCoquimbo (CRDP) and the Ecosystem Services Partnership (ESP).
Abstracts can be submitted in English or Spanish to over 40 conference sessions, covering a broad range of topics related to ecosystem services and natural capital, among which:
- Ecosystem services assessment and mapping
- Valuing ecosystem services
- Biodiversity conservation and ecosystem services
- Ecosystem services and climate change
- Ecosystem services governance and institutional aspects
- Equity and justice in ecosystem services research
- Indigenous people and local communities
- Ecosystem services in tourism/ agriculture/ business
- Ecosystem services and human well-being
These are just a few examples of the diverse session topics that will be covered during the conference. Abstract submissions are welcome across a broad spectrum of subjects related to ecosystem services and natural capital.
To ensure consideration, abstracts must be submitted by 15th July 2023.
