SELINA Workshop #3: Developing salient information for evidence-based decision-making

The third SELINA thematical workshop 'Developing salient information for evidence-based decision-making' will take place from 5-8 February 2024 in Leiden, the Netherlands, and will be hosted by Capitals Coalition. During the workshop, salient biodiversity and ecosystem services information for the DPs will be identified and a strategy to produce it will be defined.

The planned highlights of the four-day meeting are:

  • Poviding insights into the state of play from a decision maker perspective. ‘What has been developed in SELINA so far to contribute to improved decision making? What are the needs from decision-makers?’ Several external decision makers will provide insight into ongoing initiatives related to SELINA.
  • Advancing solutions communally, making stronger linkages between the decision maker needs and developments within WP3-5. Cross-collaboration between WP’s to support decision makers will be the central focus.
  • Excursion day - a field trip and a museum visit

Please note that all times in the programme will be in local time (Central European Summer Time, CEST).
