Nature-based Solutions (NBS) are prominent in global agendas for climate and biodiversity. NBS interventions to mitigate the impacts of extreme weather events exist, but transforming small-scale interventions to large-scale landscapes remains a challenge. This session will illustrate how the multiple benefits of NBS can be demonstrated at scale using world-wide NBS implementation case studies. It is an opportunity to share findings from a global effort to combat extreme weather through nature.
